Corporate Fellowship

I. Eligibility Criteria

1. Corporate body should be willing to make a substantial contribution (at least Rs. 1 crore) towards the Corpus Fund or for supporting activities of the Academy needing sustained long term support.
2. The Corporate body should be demonstrably involved or propose to involve itself in activities related to the objectives of the Academy.

   or

   The activities of the Corporate body should be in conformity with the requirements of preserving human, ecological & environmental health.

3. The Corporate body should have established reputation and clean record.
4. The financial contribution will be on mutually acceptable terms and conditions in line with the objectives of the Academy and in conformity with the prevailing National Agricultural Policy.

II. Mechanism

The proposal for Award of Corporate Fellowship shall be considered by a Committee constituted by the Executive Council. After endorsement of the Executive Council, the proposal will be subject to the approval of the Fellows by ballot as per procedures prescribed for election of Academy Fellows.

III. Entitlements

• The Academy will institute an Award in the name of the Corporate House. The finances for the purpose will be drawn from the interest accrued on the donation amount
• will be provided with an opportunity to participate in all scientific activities organized by the Academy.
• can propose activities to be organized by the Academy on mutually agreed areas consistent with Academy’s objectives; such proposals will be considered by the Academy as per its normal procedures.
• will be given a set of publications of the Academy free of cost. Additional sets will be available at 50% discount of the listed price.
• can attend as observers the Annual General Meeting subject to the terms and condition of clauses (I) of the Rules relating to rights and privileges of Fellows.
• will not use the name of the Academy for promoting any commercial or promotional activity of its products.

Corporate Membership

1. Corporate body should be willing to make a contribution of at least Rs. 25 lakhs and above towards the Corpus Fund or for supporting activities of the Academy needing sustained long term support.
2. The Corporate body should be demonstrably involved or propose to involve itself in activities related to the objectives of the Academy.

   The activities of the Corporate body should be in conformity with the requirements of preserving human, ecological & environmental health.

3. The Corporate body should have established reputation and clean record.
4. The financial contribution will be on mutually acceptable terms and conditions in line with the objectives of the Academy and in conformity with the prevailing National Agricultural Policy.

II. Mechanism

The proposal for Award of Corporate Membership shall be considered by a Committee constituted by the Executive Council. After endorsement of the Executive Council concerned donor will be intimated.

III. Entitlements

• will be provided with an opportunity to participate in all scientific activities organized by the Academy.
• can propose activities to be organized by the Academy on mutually agreed areas consistent with Academy’s objectives; such proposals will be considered by the Academy as per its normal procedures.
