Scientist, Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, 1984-2007, and Principal Scientist & Head, Division of Physiology and Biochemistry, Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar, 2007-12; Director, ICAR-Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar, 2012-17.

Awards/Honours: ICAR Award for Team Research, 1997-98 and 2003-04; Dr. Rajendra Puraskar for Technical Books in Hindi in Agriculture and Allied Sciences, 2017; D.N. Mullick Memorial Award, 2006-07; DBT Biotechnology Associateship, 1991; Young Scientist Award, 1996; ISSGPU Best Research Article Award, 2010; SAPI Best Research Paper Award, 2009; Agricultural Science Congress Best Paper Presentation Award, 1999; Indian Science Congress Best Poster Award, 2001; ISSGPU Award, 2001; ISSRF Best Poster Award, 1998; Rajasthan Gourav, 2008. He was also honoured with LIFE Time Achievement awards from Animal Physiologist association (2017) and Indian Society foe Study reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF-2020).
