Born in Banganapally, District Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, on 2nd October, 1960. Educated at Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, B. Sc (Ag) 1982, M. Sc. 1984 and Ph.D. 1988 from IARI, New Delhi; PDF, 1995 from University of Reading, UK.

Transferred Bio-pesticides technologies to more than 500 industires in India and an atuthority in the area of bio-pesticides in India with 7 International patents and One National Patent granted.
