Educated at Tahabarpur Inter College, Azamgarh,1978-1980 & SBS Inter College, Azamgarh,1980-1982; Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Narendra Nagar Kumarganj, Ayoudhaya in 1983-1986; Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttrakhand in 1987-1989, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1990-1992; B. Sc.(Ag.)1986; M. Sc.Ag. (Horticulture) 1989; Ph. D. (Horticulture), 1992.
