School, Pallipat, 1956-62; Venkateswara College, Tirupathi 1962-63, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai, 1963-68; Veterinary College, Hyderabad, 1972-74; Madras Veterinary College, Chennai, 1978-81; University of Missouri, Columbia, U.S.A., 1998-99; B.V.Sc. 1968; M.V.Sc. 1974; Ph.D. 1981; P.D.F. 1999; FAO Fellowship.

Consultant, Food, Feed, Pharmaceuticals and Poultry.

Former Professor and Head, Poultry Science, Madras Veterinary College.

Awards/Honours: ICAR Poultry Judging Contest Best Worker Award (first prize); UNICEF Resource Person; Best Book Writing Award; CLFMA of India award for outstanding research in Animal Nutrition; Indian Poultry Science Association, Lifetime Achievement Award; Senior Vice-President, World's Poultry Science Association (India Branch); Speakers' Bureau, World's Poultry Science Association.

Fellow: National Academy of Veterinary Sciences.
