About NAAS International Cell

The NAAS International Cell serves as the international outreach arm of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), New Delhi. It aims to strengthen collaborations with the global agricultural science community by engaging NAAS Pravasi Fellows, Foreign Fellows, diaspora scientists, international institutions, and global academies.

The Cell facilitates international cooperation in agricultural research, education, innovation, capacity building, and science diplomacy to address emerging challenges in Indian agriculture and contribute towards global food and nutrition security.

Dr. Karimbhai M. Maredia serves as the Foreign Secretary of the Academyand coordinates the activities of the NAAS International Cell. He plays a pivotal role in strengthening global partnerships, promoting international scientific collaborations, and expanding NAAS's engagement with the global agricultural research community.
