High School, Hakimpur (Hoogly, WB), 1963-69; Serampore College, Hoogly, 1969-70; Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belumath (Calcutta University), 1970- 73; Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalaya, Mohanpur, 1973- 78; Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur, 1979- 81, 1984- 89; B.Sc. Research Areas: Stress physiology and climate change, nutraceuticals, natural resources management and aquatic radioecology.
