Principal Scientist and Head, ICAR-CAZRI, Jodhpur, 2012 to date.

Assistant Professor, Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, 1993-2000; Senior Scientist, Central Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair, 2000-2008; Principal Scientist, Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal, 2008-2012.

Awards/Honours: Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Award, 2006-07; Dr. K. G. Tejwani Award, 2009; Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowship, 2014.

Research Areas: Agroforestry, soil-tree-crop relations, Soil ecology carbon sequestration, metagenomics of soils
