Awards/Honours: Prakritik Urja Puraskar 2010 from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, for his outstanding book on Alternative Energy Resources. Shrimati Vijay-Usha Sodha Research Award 2014 from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award 2018 from the Government of Rajasthan. Best Paper Award 2016. ISAE Best Reviewer Award 2017 & 2018. ISAE Best Research Paper Award 2023. National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) Recognition Award for the Biennium 2023–2024.
