Awards/Honours: PrakritikUrjaPuraskar 2010 from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, for his outstanding book on Alternative Energy Resources. Shrimati Vijay-UshaSodha Research Award 2014 from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award 2018 from the Government of Rajasthan.Best Paper Award 2016. ISAE Best Reviewer Award 2017 & 2018. ISAE Best Research Paper Award 2023. National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) Recognition Award for the Biennium 2023–2024.
