Educated at Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, B.Sc (Ag.) 1989-93; M.Sc (Agricultural Economics) 1995; and ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi, Ph.D. 2004. Obtained an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from Welingkar Institute of Business Management, Mumbai, in 2006.
