S. Venkatraman Award - Outstanding Research in Sugarcane Agriculture for the Biennium 2018-2019; ICAR-SBI Foundation Day Award-2021 for the Outstanding Contribution in Sugarcane Research; Jeer Sannidhi Award (2022) by the Indian Phytopathological Society, New Delhi; National Water Award - 2019 from Ministry of Jal Shakti, GOI, International Water Sustainability Award 2021-22 from TERI, UNDP and IWA; Country Representative – International Plant Proteomics Organisation (INPPO), since 2010. 3 Patents, 2 genetic stocks registered, 4 Varieties and 2 Technologies.
