In 2012, the Academy launched its Official Journal ‘Agricultural Research’, in collaboration with Springer India (Pvt.) Ltd. The goal of the journal is to publish articles on the new and emerging areas and concepts to promote agricultural research globally. It is a unique journal covering all the disciplines of agricultural sciences. The journal is published quarterly and includes original research papers, critical reviews and opinion articles, covering both applied and basic research. The Journal publishes articles in all the disciplines of agricultural sciences, like genetic resources, genetics and breeding, biotechnology, physiology, biochemistry, management of biotic and abiotic stresses, and nutrition of field crops, horticultural crops, livestock and fishes; agricultural meteorology, environmental sciences, forestry and agro forestry, agronomy, soils and soil management, microbiology, water management, agricultural engineering and technology, agricultural policy, agricultural economics, food nutrition, agricultural statistics, and extension research; impact of climate change and the emerging technologies on agriculture, and the role of agricultural research and innovation for development. The journal encourages contribution of articles from all parts of the world. The online version is published in colour and the print version in black and white. There is no page charge for publication of articles in ‘Agricultural Research’. The journal can be accessed on the homepage of ‘Agricultural Research’ at http:// www.springerlink.com
The online version of the journal can be accessed free of charge by the Fellows and Associates of the Academy, using the ‘token access code’ provided by the Academy. A limited number of copies of the print version are printed. The print copies of the Journal are sent to the NAAS Fellows on first come first served basis.
