125^th Executive Council Meeting

The 125^th Executive Council meeting was held on 29^th April 2022 under the Chairmanship of Dr. T. Mohapatra, President of the Academy. Policy Paper 104 on ‘One World One Health’ and two publications from Hyderabad Chapter of the Academy were released by the President.

Members reviewed the Annual Day program of the Academy scheduled on 4-5^th June, 2022. Members were informed that Dr. P. Balram, Former Director, Indian Institute of Science has agreed to deliver the Foundation Day lecture.

Members were also informed that the Academy has signed an MoU with the Crop Science Society of America. It was discussed to organize an interaction meeting with all Academies to discuss possible areas for collaborative activities.

It was finalized that an interaction session between Fellows and Dr. Rattan Lal, Dr. R.S. Paroda and Dr. Rod Wing will be organized on 5^th June 2022.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the Chair and members.
